Whipworms, Trichuris vulpis are intestinal parasites which are about 7 cm long. They live in the large intestine (caecum and colon) of dogs where they cause severe irritation to the lining of these organs.
Cervical spondylopathy or Canine wobbler syndrome is a problem affecting the neck bones of large breed dogs, particularly Great Danes and Dobermanns.
Broadly there are two types of worms that cause problems in the dog, nematodes (roundworms),and cestodes (tapeworms).
