• Betamethasone

  Betamethasone is a corticosteroid used to treat inflammatory conditions involving the joints, skin conditions, eye conditions, and ear problems. There may be other conditions for which your veterinarian may prescribe this medication.

• Bethanechol Chloride

  Bethanechol chloride is used to stimulate muscular contractions in your pet's bladder. It is used in pets unable to urinate.

• Bromhexine

  Bromhexine is a mucolytic. It reduces the thickness of the mucus in the trachea and bronchi, so that excessive fluid is more easily cleared from the respiratory tract. Bromhexine is used in respiratory tract infections and may be prescribed with other medicines.

• Buprenorphine

  Buprenorphine is an opioid analgesic used to relieve pain in your pet after a surgical operation. It is also used for sedation. Your veterinarian will administer the drug by injection for pain control.

• Butorphanol

  Butorphanol is an opioid analgesic used to relieve pain in your pet after a surgical operation. Your veterinarian will administer the drug by injection for pain control.

• Cabergoline

  Cabergoline affects the hormones controlling pregnancy and milk production. It is prescribed for pseudopregnancy (false pregnancy) or suppression of lactation in dogs.

• Carbimazole

  Carbimazole is used to treat overactive thyroid gland (hyperthyroidism) in your pet. The thyroid gland is producing too much thyroid hormone causing symptoms in your pet such as restlessness, weight loss, increased heart rate, and heat intolerance.

• Cardiomyopathy in Cats

  Cardiomyopathy is a term used to describe diseases of the heart muscle (cardio = heart, myo = muscle, pathy = disease). In cats, various different types of cardiomyopathy have been described.
