Barry’s Blog

First of all, I would like to apologise for the delay this week. I was busy finding new comfortable places to observe the humans.

Also, happy Australia day everybody!

I spent my day lazing around more than usual. Hanging out with Pearl, doing exactly what I love to do. Isn’t that the Australian way?

This week we have seen some awesome orthopedic work by Dr Russell, with assistance of Travis and the wonderful Dr Candace

And on another day, Dr Russell got his hands in a different area to remove a lump, with assistance of Dr Dieuwerke

Yes, that is what it looks like. A dogs tail in the air while Dr Russell fixes what is right beneath it. Lovely!

And I got to spend some time with Dr Des’s mate Bobby. He’s sweet. He sometimes leaves some of his food for me. I’m not a big fan of dog food, but I am always willing to try something new.

And Nurse Tania was trying to play tricks on people. Dr Dan got a good scare-

Don’t worry, it’s not real. But i have heard that there have been some sightings of real snakes in the Macedon Ranges, so take care. Dr Russell has again been keeping busy and wrote a small piece on snake bites if you would like more info: https://gisbornevets.com.au/snake-bites/

Always call my human friends if you are worried about the snakes interacting with your friends.

This week, Dr Rohan is back and is super busy! Along side Dr Des & Dr Jemma. They amaze me every day! And especially on days like this when they venture out into the heat, while I enjoy the luxury of air conditioning.

Make sure you all take care of yourself in this warmth. Make sure you furry/scaly/feathered friends have plenty of shade & water.

See you all next week. I promise to be on time.

Love always,
Barry.
