Small Animal Veterinarian
Candace began working at the Gisborne Veterinary Clinic in 2018 as a locum vet. She has since been recruited as an official team member in 2021 and travels between multiple clinics in the Macedon Ranges.She graduated in 2013 from her veterinary studies and has worked in Bendigo, Wangaratta, Melbourne and the UK before returning home to the Macedon Ranges.
Candace has a passion for preventative health care, feline behaviour, allergic skin disease and surgery. She enjoys the diversity of work provided in general practice. She is an advocate for fear free handling techniques for dogs and cats who visit veterinary clinics for care, and ensures that both owners and animals feel safe and secure during their visits.
Candace keeps busy by teaching her own cat, Lyla, special tricks.
